Today i read in the PokerTH Forum a post from .Attila with a collection of famous poker claims. We also collected already some poker claims at Equity-Poker.de. So i merged them today and translated some into german. Now we have 2 sections:

The NYC Cup started at friday, 10.02.2012 10:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. UTC/GMT +1 with 91 participants.

On monday the final table started with the winners of the 10 qualifying tables.

And it was "German-Time" in the NYC Final. Our 3 Winners come from germany. So the podium changed from italien to german dominance at this 2. Cup at Poker-Heroes.com.

PokerTH 0.9.3
At Saturday our colleagues from PokerTH came out with the new PokerTH Version 0.9.3. We strongly recommand this version, which can be downloaded here. This version updated the Maemo support and hat some more changes to improve your gaming experience (Changelog).

Finally we did it.
THE RANKING RESET - "Season I 2012" starts

With the reset we changed some parameters you suggested in the forum:

1. the number of games to calculate your score was increased from 30 up to 100
2.  we changed the First-20-Games-Malus into a First-30-Games-Malus

These are the only changes we made with the reset.

Another improvement is the season period, which will last 3 months. After this time we have a season winner and we reset the ranking again to start Season II 2012. We will implement an annual ranking after Season I. Follow the discussion at the forum about this ranking.

Your profiles will be updated with the "All Time - Rank-O-Meter" and your Beta season results. Please be patient, we do the update asap.

Yesterday evening we started the 1st cup this year. After a long confirmation and seeding period the ten tables for the start were set. We had 91 participants at the start. After 2 hours the 10 winners which are now qualified for the final table were set. 

• To the winners: Please send a mail with your logfile / screenshot to info@poker-heroes.com

Now we are going to find the date. All finalists will get a mail with another Doodle voting as soon as they send the mails with the wining logfile / screenshot.

All participants of the turney will receive a special award. We will put it into your profile as soons as our "Award Master" finished graving them ;)...

I need to excuse, because i forgott something: The prices...

The winner will receive 30,- €
2nd place will receive 20,- €
3rd place will receive 10,- €

We already arrange the next cup. This cup will be a Heads-Up Cup in single elimination mode - best of 3. Watch out for the upcoming news about it.

UPDATE: We send the invitation mails at 3 p.m. UTC+1 to the substitutes.

Today we will fill up all slots from players, which did not confirmed their participance at the cup. Plaese read this carefully. All times are fix. No excuses for late players! We fill up free slots immediately. All substitutes have still 2 chances to join the cup:

1. We will send invitation mails to all substitutes which moves into the cup. Please assure, that everybody at the top200 list is able to receive an invitation mail. The first wave of mails we sent today at 3 p.m. UTC+1.
2. We fill up the slots which won´t be used during the Check-In phase between 9.00 to 9:30 p.m. UTC+1. Every player which confirmed his participance by mail has to check in during this time. Missing players will be kicked off the turney. Free slots are going to substitutes.

• UPDATE: If you are interested to participate at the turney and you are on the top200 list, just be online at 9:30 p.m. UTC+1. We give all free slots to the substitutes. At his moment (1:33 p.m. utc+1) we have more than free slots.

We would like to inform all players at the places 101 - 200 that you were listed as substitutes. We have already some accounts which won´t join the cup. So we take the next ranked accounts into the cup.

For all players: Please make sure, that your email adresses you used in your profile are working. Check your spam folders and whitelist poker-heroes.com, so that you can receive the invitation mail. Accounts which have not confirmed will be removed.
