We would like to suggest to end the qualifying period on sunday the 5th 11:59 pm UTC/GMT +1.

But we would let it be up to you players to decide. Just keep in mind, that we should end the tourney round about the 12th of february (maybe 1-2 days +-).

Many of you asked us when the reset of the ladder will be done. After our conference yesterday we decided to reset the ranking at the 12th of february.

Before the reset will be done, we will organize a "New Years Cup". So check your ranking position. The top 100 will be qualified.

I opened a forum thread with a lot of more details we planned for the next time. Please check this thread out and feel free to discuss with us.

With special greetings from the PokerTH developer meeting we are presenting PokerTH 0.9.2 on 2012-01-28. The new version contains mostly bugfixes and some small enhancements. Especially for the players from ESL we've done a quick fix for the logfile extension bug. Have fun again! We've also implemented a frequently requested feature: You can now turn on the "accidentally call" blocker via settings to prevent going all-in by clicking the call button too fast. For detailed release information please check the Changelog.

...the DNS switch was successfull and you are on the new server.
Welcome :)

This evening (21.01.2012) we switched the ranking website poker-heroes.com and the pokerth gameserver to this new server. Now we have more power for a better gaming experience and less login- and database-problems. This server is a cloud server. This means, that we can upgrade the performance easily. Important for future steps.

The first new feature we added is the nations ranking, you can find in the ranking menue.
We also switched on the ranking overview.

This Saturday there will be about 3 hours downtime starting from 8 pm UTC/GMT +1. Reason: We switch the provider and with this step we fix the performance problems we had for the last 12 months. This step is very important for the community and also for us. It will be the "follow-up" of the latest development steps PokerTH made with the software. 

After the switch we plan to add some new features and hope you will have more fun playing PokerTH.

We also would like to announce the reset of the ranking. This happens in 2-3 weeks. Then we start with seasons, and each season will last 3 months.

On 2012-01-09 we released the first minor release after the new version 0.9. In PokerTH-0.9.1 we finally enabled a new log system based on sqlite database instead of text files. But you are also able to export game logfiles in human readable format in the settings dialog. The chatbot behaviour in game table chat changed with this version to mute players instead of kick them for abusive chat using.
