Yesterday evening we started the 1st cup this year. After a long confirmation and seeding period the ten tables for the start were set. We had 91 participants at the start. After 2 hours the 10 winners which are now qualified for the final table were set.

Now we are going to find the date. All finalists will get a mail with another Doodle voting as soon as they send the mails with the wining logfile / screenshot.

All participants of the turney will receive a special award. We will put it into your profile as soons as our "Award Master" finished graving them ;)...

I need to excuse, because i forgott something: The prices...

The winner will receive 30,- €
2nd place will receive 20,- €
3rd place will receive 10,- €

We already arrange the next cup. This cup will be a Heads-Up Cup in single elimination mode - best of 3. Watch out for the upcoming news about it.

Today we will fill up all slots from players, which did not confirmed their participance at the cup. Plaese read this carefully. All times are fix. No excuses for late players! We fill up free slots immediately. All substitutes have still 2 chances to join the cup:

1. We will send invitation mails to all substitutes which moves into the cup. Please assure, that everybody at the top200 list is able to receive an invitation mail. The first wave of mails we sent today at 3 p.m. UTC+1.
2. We fill up the slots which won´t be used during the Check-In phase between 9.00 to 9:30 p.m. UTC+1. Every player which confirmed his participance by mail has to check in during this time. Missing players will be kicked off the turney. Free slots are going to substitutes.

• UPDATE: If you are interested to participate at the turney and you are on the top200 list, just be online at 9:30 p.m. UTC+1. We give all free slots to the substitutes. At his moment (1:33 p.m. utc+1) we have more than free slots.

We would like to inform all players at the places 101 - 200 that you were listed as substitutes. We have already some accounts which won´t join the cup. So we take the next ranked accounts into the cup.

For all players: Please make sure, that your email adresses you used in your profile are working. Check your spam folders and whitelist poker-heroes.com, so that you can receive the invitation mail. Accounts which have not confirmed will be removed.

And we will set up the next ranked players as substitutes.
The players nanusch and blubber are qualified as 1st and 2nd substitutes, because we started 2 direct qualifying turneys for everybody, which were won by them.

At midnight we will publish the list of the top 100 players which are qualified.

Everybody who want´s to join the turney should assure that he can receive emails from poker-heroes.com. Tuesday all participants will get an invitation mail with all details. We play with the same settings and rules from the last cup (http://www.pokerth.net/forum/31-general/5526-xmas-cup-2010-thread.html). Also the procedure will be the same.

We would like to suggest to end the qualifying period on sunday the 5th 11:59 pm UTC/GMT +1.

But we would let it be up to you players to decide. Just keep in mind, that we should end the tourney round about the 12th of february (maybe 1-2 days +-).

Many of you asked us when the reset of the ladder will be done. After our conference yesterday we decided to reset the ranking at the 12th of february.

Before the reset will be done, we will organize a "New Years Cup". So check your ranking position. The top 100 will be qualified.

With special greetings from the PokerTH developer meeting we are presenting PokerTH 0.9.2 on 2012-01-28. The new version contains mostly bugfixes and some small enhancements. Especially for the players from ESL we've done a quick fix for the logfile extension bug. Have fun again! We've also implemented a frequently requested feature: You can now turn on the "accidentally call" blocker via settings to prevent going all-in by clicking the call button too fast. For detailed release information please check the Changelog.

...the DNS switch was successfull and you are on the new server.
Welcome :)

This evening (21.01.2012) we switched the ranking website poker-heroes.com and the pokerth gameserver to this new server. Now we have more power for a better gaming experience and less login- and database-problems. This server is a cloud server. This means, that we can upgrade the performance easily. Important for future steps.

The first new feature we added is the nations ranking, you can find in the ranking menue.
We also switched on the ranking overview.
